Long Gate

Example:

During his movement phase, Mike decides to send two Cultists to attack Kathryn in an adjacent Node. Mike rolls two 1s and then 2d6 (i.e. one six-sided die per Cultist) on the Gate Mishaps Table and rolls two 4s; both his Cultists are long-gated.

Long-Gate-ExampleMike now rolls 2d6 to see where each goes within the Alchemical ring they originated. His Cultists started in the ring of Air and so will finish in the same ring but not in their Node of Origin. Starting with the next Node anti-clockwise in the ring designated ‘1’, Mike rolls to see where his pieces go. He rolls a ‘3’ and a ‘1’ and one travels four Nodes anticlockwise and the other one Node anticlockwise.
