From time to time, Players will summon random Monsters using Arcana Cards and attack other Great Old Ones. This combat must be resolved as per the usual Combat Phase prior to the normal Turn sequence resuming.
Monsters have an attack value of 3d6 and are controlled by the Player who summoned them. If they manage to remove all Cultist tokens from a Node, they remain there until they are destoyed.
If they are unsuccessful after the second Combat segment, they move to any unoccupied Node at the choice of the Player who summoned them. If there are no unoccupied Nodes, they wink out of existence.
