Node Counters

‘Node Counters represent locations of arcane significance scattered across each of the Alchemical Elemental Rings. Linked by the Ley Lines, these locations move around until such time as intrepid Great Old Ones open a magical gate linking a Ley Line from one location to another. Each location is attuned to one of the five elements and its corresponding colour.’

Occupying Nodes affords the Great Old Ones access to additional abilities (see Node Counters Deck) that are printed on one side of the Node Counter. These power descriptions are reproduced in a separate Node Deck.

When a Great Old One lands on an unoccupied Node, she flips the Node and selects the corresponding card from the Node Deck. This sits face-up on the table next to their Great Old One card. When a location is unknown, its Node Counter is left description-down.

Node cards do not add to Arcana hand sizes and remain on the table at all times.
